Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Inspired By Back To The Future On Sale November 28, 2016

Nike has released further information about the HyperAdapt 1.0.  Consumers will soon be able to RSVP for a Nike Experience and purchase a pair beginning November 28, 2016. Further details will be announced in the following weeks.

Wired has an article with the designers of the shoe, where they discuss the inspiration of the shoe from when Marty McFly first puts on a pair.

The shoe has taken 11 years of research and development and Nike has finally completed the technology they call "adaptive fit" and will start selling self lacing shoes this holiday season.

GoPro Karma

GoPro Drone Karma - $799 for a foldable drone

GoPro has announced the Karma, a compact fold able drone. The Karma can fly at a maximum of 35 mph, distance of 3280 ft, and altitude of 14,500 ft. Flight time is up to 20 minutes with the use of a Li-Po 14.8V battery.

The Karma includes a touch screen controller with a screen size of 5 inches, screen resolution of 720p, and battery life of 4 hours. Charging time for the drone is 1 hour and 2.5 hours for the controller.

The Karma GoPro Drone has a detachable stabilizer arm that can be used to stabilize video capture when the the drone cannot be used.

Karma is compatible with Hero 5 and Hero 4.

The Karma is available on October 23, 2016 for $799.99, only for the drone, stabilizer, and case.

photokina 2016: Nikon reveals final specs for KeyMission 360

 Nikon has finally revealed the final specifications and price for the KeyMission 360, a VR ready 360 degree camera capable of shooting in 4K.

With the KeyMission 360, users can also create time-lapse sequences, ultra-smooth slow motion videos or capture 23.9-megapixel stills. KeyMission 360 is waterproof down to 98-feet with included underwater lens protector, freezeproof down to 14°F and shockproof up to a drop of 6.6-feet.

The Nikon KeyMission is set to release on October 26, 2016 for the retail price of $499.95.

Intel Developer Forum 2016 - Project Alloy VR Headset Open Source Second Half 2017

Partners will be able to manufacture their own version of Project Alloy in the second half of 2017 when Intel opens up the Alloy platform. Microsoft Windows will soon add a Holographic shell which will work with Project Alloy and other VR headsets to give developers a Windows 10 platform to build virtual worlds.

Intel CEO Brian Krzanich introduces Intel's Project Alloy VR headset. 

Intel has introduced a VR headset named Project Alloy at the Intel Developer Forum 2016.

The VR headset is a self contained all in one unit.  Project Alloy VR does not require any outside motion sensors or controllers. The headset includes Intel Realsense which allows the user's hands to be used as controllers in the VR field.

#AMD announces Radeon™ RX 480 - The $200 VR capable graphics card

AMD has announced the Radeon RX 480 at COMPUTEX 2016, TAIPEI, Taiwan.

The RX 480 is a polaris based 14nm graphics chip which is capable of delivering VR processing power at both a low cost and low power consumption.



AMD is targeting VR with the RX 480 and believes the affordable graphics card will help make VR more accessible to consumers, help developers reach a larger audience, and reduce the cost of entry into VR.

The Radeon RX 480 with 4GB of VRAM will be launching in June 29 for $199.

#Nintendo Sneakers Slated for June 2016

Nintendo will soon bring their games and game characters to shoes. In collaboration with Vans, Nintendo fans will be able to wear shoes with
designs sporting characters such as Super Mario, Zelda, Duck Hunt, and Donkey Kong.

The Nintendo x Vans shoes are expected to be available this June.
